Back pain treatment
Some drugs are used to treat back pains as they have been tested and approved to be the best drugs in relieving back pains. Such drugs include the opioid narcotics such as the Vicodin and Percocet. Others include the analgesics such as the ibuprofen and acetaminophen. Some of these drugs such as the opiates and narcotics are very powerful in reducing the back pain but have severe side effects such that if you regularly consume them, you may become addicted to the drugs. Analgesics are not addictive, but then again they don’t adequately relief the pack pains completely. Also, analgesics have long term effects such as stomach bleeding, liver, and kidney damage.
For those who don’t prefer to take these drugs, the only option they are given is to take bed rest which in return slows down the recovery process.
